A threat inofitself can never be false. A threat is just that. They may or may not be in possession of a bomb. However, thanks to the US Department of Homeland Security and the USA PATRIOT Act, you will be thrown into Guantanamo Bay (while it's still open) with the rest of the terrorists, without food or water, and interrogated until your ears bleed.
You will then eventually be transferred to Rikers or Sing-Sing, where you will spend the next 80 or so years in solitary confinement, left with nothing but your thoughts of regret.
Then, when you die, your body will be incinerated and thrown into the Mississippi River, where small bugs and fish will pick at your decaying flesh, until you reach the Gulf of Mexico and are found by Cubans and used as a raft to get into America, where you will be tried again for importing illegal immigrants.
So just don't make threats unless you can back them up.

I work in retail, and I have had to go to court to testify on people that have phoned in bomb threats. It is a very serious thing and they will press charges on you, even if you were a teen like this guy was.
