No it is not contagious.
Allergy is caused by allergan. Allergan for example would be fur of dogs or cats, pollen and some people even allergy to mango and nuts. It all depends on certain individual and it will not be contagious at all.
Thus, the body will recognize the allergan as foreign body which in fact they are not hazardous to us. Our body immune system will therefore over-react to the allergan and produce allergy reaction.

No. It is not an infection. Allergy is adverse reaction to something non infectious and you cannot pass allergy to someone. Allergic tendencies are in born.

They can be if you are blood relatives! I have allergies and gave them to my daughter. All my siblings have allergies too. I think we caught them from our parents.........
