No,You're not 100% crazy.My cat used to do the same thing.I once though she called my dog stupid.I think its the way they meow,my cat knows when i'm doing something wrong....and she tells me when to go to bed.She's like a mother.
"I believe it because my cat communicates with me like that too. It is amazing, they can't verbalize, but if you are in-tuned to them you understand them and they understand you."

My dear I doubt very much that there is anything wrong with your cat, (IF IT IS A CAT) but on a more serious note, you need to see a shrink asap

go to a doctor (quickly) before you know it not just your cat will speak to you but also other animals / object
best go see a doctor as long as you can focus on talking to him and don't have to ignore the chair you are sitting on
