Yes it does. Between man and woman there are two types of love. 1. The type where you fall head over heels in love and they own your heart and soul. 2. Someone you feel compatible with, you choose to make the relationship work by being as honest and open and caring as you can with the other. THE LATTER IS THE BEST TYPE OF LOVE. The first type (although initially can feel better) can only BRING YOU PAIN. The second type consists of contentment with the other and a possible lifetime of happiness. Sure. One can love family and friends to the point of giving their own life for them. As far as romantic love, no, I don't believe it does. been there, done that, and I think it is just a bunch of garbage.
