Soak in warm water to bring it closer to the surface. Then sterilize a needle and use to get it out. Hint: Use an ice cube to numb area first, before using the needle.

Girl, put his arms at his sides, wrap him up TIGHT in a blanket so he can't fight you and get the splinter out before it gets infected and really starts hurting. It may sound crazy but think about it...the blanket isn't hurting him and if he is restrained how much fighting can he do? My 4 yr old is the same way when its time to take medicine and believe me it makes life a heck of a lot simpler

Soak some bread in milk. Put it on the area, and put a bandaid and a sock over it. The milk will take the pain away, and the bread will pull the splinter to the surface. Good luck!

Take him to a doctor. The foot has more bones in it than the rest of the body and a lot of muscles and nerves and yaddah. It has to be taken out; and correctly. Make the little meathead wear shoes outside, also. I had a daughter who would not wear shoes and stepped on some glass and spent several weeks off her feet. After being sewed up she decided to listen and has worn shoes ever since.

Have you tried duct tape?

Not for tying the kid down, I'm not mean!
Put the duct tape over the splinter, and pull it off in the direction that the splinter went in, pull WITH the splinter, not against it.
It sometimes works on the wiggly ones.

do not laugh!!!
take a piece of bread and soak it in milk and lay it on the splinter and bandaide it there or wrap to keep it there, possible nap time or something. It should take the splinter out.
