Evolution says that apes were the original first inhabitants but religions say otherwise...and since Islam is a religion which has proved to the scientific world of it's predictions,Im interested to know the position Islam holds when it comes to evolution....pls I want replies from some enlightened Muslims...

If there was concrete evidence it would not be a theory of evolution. Do you have any concrete evidence for creationism? You claim that is fact.
It is a credible theory because all of the evidence point sto it being correct, while the religious arguement has no evidence to the contrary. In fact, all they can come up with is ridiculous ideas.

Hi, I'm a Muslim. I remember my high school teacher said the evolution theory is a scientific fact for animals to be created by God. However, he wasn't sure if humans followed the same path. I am not an expert in theology, but I do not believe that evolution is at odds with Islam, just a different interpretation. Many Muslims, in an effort to harmonize with American televangelists(yes there are such guys) have set out to attack evolution on several occasions, but they did not draw attention. It's simply a non-issue, I think, for many Muslims. But as in many other things that entered Islam later, anti-evolutionism may take a hold in the future, but I hope this doesn't happen.

The religion of the first person on the Earth was Islam so Islam basically starts from the beginning.Your question is based on Islam's history so its quite a vast topic to be written here .Everything is written in Quran in details so better go for it and read it.

the only thing is Adam was 60 cubits tall, and then the generation after him started to shrink.
based with my knowledge. the only evolution that islam talked about is this:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said,
"Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. [snip]"
