I was just wondering this myself. My mother's birthday is coming, and she's tough. Anything she wants, she goes out and buys for herself. I have something for her, but my daughter needs something to give.
I was thinking of going to a florist or greenhouse and buying a potted plant. Something pretty and not poisonous to children or animals. My mom likes plants, though, so I think that will work. Good luck, I know it's hard when they already have everything!

TIME! Does she have young children? Give her the afternoon off by tending the children for her while she goes and gets a pedicure or maybe you could prepare dinner that night at her house for her and her family and do the dinner dishes for her? Almost like creating a restaurant at her kitchen table. Mothers are always the last to eat because they are up and down getting drinks, napkins, etc for everyone else. It's so sweet of you to ask!

You could try fixing her a meal! She may have everything, but her belly is not full of food that you cook. I know this would make her happy to have you cook for her. If I were a mom and I had everything, but my daughter took the time to cook me a meal instead of it being the other way around I would be happy! Material things are'nt just the things that make people happy.

I think she'll be glad to receive a nice flowers package along with a heart felt "Happy Birthday". If she has the love of the family, she has indeed everything.

My mum's b'day is in a week and I'm in the same situation. Was thinking of getting her this zoo tour where you feed and touch the animals (she's an animal lover), then take her out to dinner.

Depending on your budget - send her for a massage or an entire day at the spa. If she has young children she really needs a break!

Give her a shopping spree with you. Take her out for a day. Shopping, or if thats not for her, spa, or something like that.

Make something yourself, like bake a cake, embroider her something, make her proud by showing your talent, her greatest asset is you and she would like to know that youare someone she can be proud and happy about.

Make her something. Alternately, take her out to do her favorite thing or go to a favorite restaurant. Don't just purchase something, do something.
