Because people who are inclined to hate are more likely to be attracted to religion than people who are tolerant.

Yes, most religions have certain things in common. There are exceptions, but they are the minority not the majority. There are two main reasons that the Christians and Muslims are fighting. One is historical and the other is one particular point of incompatibility. The historical reason is the Crusades. The Christians invaded the Holy Land and went to war with the Muslims. In their religious fervor, they sought to destroy Islam. Also, some of the Crusaders were unsavory characters who didn't come for religion or "protecting the pilgrim's to the holy land" (one of the excuses for invading), they came simply for the treasure and land. Unfortunately, as in any war the misdeeds of the few came to symbolize the entire war. This placed a seed of hatred between the Christians and the Muslims and inflamed the Muslims to fanaticism to counter the Christians. That fanaticism continues to this day.

The second reason is the fact that both religions' core beliefs contain the ideology if you don't believe the way we do you are wrong and deceiving people. Christians believe that if you are not Christian you are going to Hell because you reject Christ. Muslims believe that Islam is the only true religion. They are further commanded to go forth and convert the entire world, just as Christians are told to spread the good news of the resurrection to all nations and peoples. These two beliefs are diametrically opposite of each other.

The "best" religion is the one you find in your heart. It is the one that is your truth. No two people ever pick the same spiritual path, even people of the same religion are different. Even if you take out the religious aspect of a group of people there will still be wars between nations. It is the misuse and misinterpretation of religion and spirituality that can cause war or be an excuse for war. And it is the desire for power and control that fuels the flame.

Religion is just an excuse for war. The real reasons are other. Yes all the religions basically say the same things as ethics.
War is made for money, power and possession. Not for religion.

Spiritually is what I truly believe! God is in every religion, the problem is that most people seem to be so wrapped up in their own beliefs, and trying to convince others that their religion is the right way to go, that they end up losing the true meaning of God's Word!! God, is Our Holy Savior, Our Creator, Our Beloved Father, He is here for EVERYONE! There Are No Competitions, or Wars, Needed to Prove Any Thing!!! Everyone Here On Earth Is God's Child! He has no Favorites!!!!!
Believing, and Keeping God's, Love in your Heart, Mind, Body, and Soul, Is What Truly Matters, too God, and too Ourselves!!!
GOD BLESSES US ALL!!!!!!!!

The question "which one is better?" indicates that you think one has to be superior, which is the real problem. One is not "better" than the other. I think religion serves to quell the feeling of futility one has with life. Different people have different concerns, giving meaning to all religion. The Answer to "why is there war?" is simple. It's your fault. People who can't get over the fact that there is no winner. We are all equal.

There is only one gospel (truth) and that is Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God who gave his life a ransom for the sin of mankind and who stated that that there is only one way into heaven and that is through him. Any other teaching is to be against God's teachings and is of the Devil. Because this is a relationship establishment and not a religion it is what distinguishes it from the religions and gives it the uniqueness that God desired of mankind in relationship to him. No other religion's God ask for this relationship or provides the direct means through a Redeemer to obtain it.

There's war because men cannot agree with each other. To determine which is true, it's best to study both. The Koran has more errors and contradictions than any other major religious text in the world.

Which is best, IMO, evangelical Christianity.

>>>why there is still a war between the christian and the moslem?<<<

There might not be such wars, if certain Muslims would stop committing suicide bombings and hijacking airplanes with the purpose of crashing them into skyscrapers.
