The don't fear it. They just don't want to lose a bird in the hand while they search for the right bird in the bush. If you're bf is waffling move on until you get a ring and a wedding day some time in the next 2 years.

A lot of guys don't fear commitment, they just haven't found the one who they want to commit to, and some guys really won't want to commit. It could be that he isn't into you, but it just could be that he needs time to come to grips with the idea.

It's not just men who fear commitment. Some people just can't stand the thought of "they can't" do something. Even if they never have any intentions on doing so, they hate the "I can't" statement.

No, absolutely not. We're hardwired that way. Most men are naturally fearful of commitment. It has nothing to do whether he's into you or not.

not all guys fear commitment but the ones that do are probably afraid that something better will come along, afraid the girl will find something better, afraid of hurting their partner, afraid of getting hurt by their partner, afraid of getting pressured into marriage, afraid they won't be able to hang out with the guys anymore, afraid they'll miss the "chase", afraid their partner will get too possesive and probably afraid the sex will stop after they get married

men fear commitment because the arent as sneaky as women can be. men generaly have no self control and are much more likely to get caught cheating... women are usually more incontrol than men... and they dont like it... its not you, dont worry huni. x

because commitment entails a huge responsibility. they have to be really sure (they think so, at least) that before they are committed to someone, she must be worth giving up all the freedom of "bachelorhood".

no, i don't think it's that but it's probly because we mature faster than they do so when we are ready they are still a little behind us i don't think they fear it, it just takes them longer
