Itching is not always allergy. Itching is one of the symptoms of allergy.
There are other causes for itching skin too. Like -- dry skin, contact dermatitis (poison ivy or others), skin inflammation, rash, acne, worm infections, insect bites, scabies etc

I was really itchy all over for a long time . It was caused by hig sugar account. This was before I knew I had Type 2 diabetes
