I don't understand the question... "so do you think we can still?" What are you talking about?
Also

If so do you mean to say "My boyfriend and I have now been together for four years and we still love each other...." that's as far as I can go until you lose direction in your question and don't make any sense.
When will he propose? No idea. Can you still get married? Yes. Will it work out? No idea. Does he want to get married? No idea. Do you want to marry? Sounds like it.

No one can say when it is right for you to get married. Some people do it straight away, some wait years and some don't bother. If it is important to both of you then i would say go for it. Wait until he proposes, a few hints don't hurt, it will be all the more special if you leave it to him. Plus if he doesn't you will know he has an issue and you should talk about it.

Yes, you have all the time in the world.some couples are together 10 years and still not married.I have been with my partner 2 years and we are not married.I know I will spend my life with him.some men feel once married thats when all the problems start,and are scared to lose what they have got.statistically couples last longer unmarried.plus you have to think of the cost.its a lot of cash.yes you could have a cheap registry and be happy with that.men feel like they are letting women down,and that they expect a big white wedding,which can cost thousands.one day,yes he will propose.be happy and content with what you have.we are luckier than a lot of folk,that we already have true commitment without the piece of paper.

Hi Doris , hw are you , it is quite amazing to me that its been four years and still your guy hasn't asked ur hand in marriage , was it a mutual consent or is it that guy is not serious about you.
Rethink your decesion of marrying this guy ??????????
Secondly Marriage is an Institution which is being build on trust and faith and if you both have that faith in urself , go ahead and ask him to marry you , then probably you can see his true colors.
Donot delay it any further as time and tide waits for none ,

let me tell you that MEN sometimes just take forever to "pop the question". If you want to get married that badly You should consider "popping the question" yourself. I mean lots of women are doing that now a days. I wish you the best of luck on your hopefully soon to be wedding.

4 years is a good length. I've known people who've gone for 5 before getting married. Some people rush it, other's don't, so yeah, you can still get married.

my sister was with a guy for 10 years before they got married.anything is possible.why don't you ask him.its done these days a woman asking a man to marry them or talk to him about it. good luck
