I'm talking about the details of being knocked off his horse and having fish scales over his eyes and being blinded by Jesus. Paul only mentions that he was chosen by God and that he used to persecute Christians.

Paul was a very humble man and wanted to focus the message on Jesus Christ and God, not himself. Only rarely did he mention his history or background, and when he did it was with the utmost of humility and servitude.

Paul was attempting to write scripture. You can tell by Paul's written style. However, Paul did not completely accomplish writing scripture. Paul didn't have any parables from God to write down and it looks like He didn't want to write down any of the parables that Christ spoke.

More Christians are suspicious of Paul's heart and Paul's personal spiritual desires today than ever before.

Swedenborg was openly critical of Paul's intents personally but did quote from Paul because Paul does have accuracy if you read the letters literally instead of trying to interpret them.

He also didn't go into details about the present pain in his side, nor did he whine excessively about his imprisonment and impending execution by the Romans. He had a young and growing church that had major growing pains of its own to worry about. He probably didn't want to waste the precious bit of available paper, ink, and time on "old news."

In alot of bible stories the writers didnt put the "inside scoop" in. Like why didnt they get Lazurus to say what heaven was like?

Would you write something like that about your life? People would think you are nuts. It's great if someone exaggerates something about you but stupid if you do it yourself.

guess whoever wrote the bible decided that story was a little too far out (compared to the other far out stories one finds in the bible)
