Personally, NO, I am not religious. Althought I do think there is some sort of higher being, it don't see why it has to be one person (namely god). For some people it is an issue, whether the world is Busy and Fast, it makes no difference. I don't agree that god is someone whos is always there all the time, why should this one person be hidden from view, he should show himself. If god is the wonderful person he is, why do all these bad thing happen in the world, like wars, murders etc.
God is not supposed to let this sort of thing happen if we were all created in his image, then why do we have so many bad people in the world. Why are we supposed to serve him and suffer for him, I don't think that is right, whether we were created in his image or not, it does not give the church or any other religion the right to tell me or anyone else how to run my or their lives.
Answer me this, why is god supposed to be a Man, who gave Man the so called right to be in charge, if it was not for a woman, there would be no men on this earth whatsoever.
Sorry if I rattle a few peoples heads with the above, but the question was asked and I have answered it based on my own thoughts and feelings

We live in a post religious society (well in the Western world anyway). We no longer gain our values and ideals from the messages of the Church. We have awoke from our disillusionment and started to gain our values from looking at the world around us rather than listening to preachers.
Society's values have moved on from religious teachings and we are able to think for ourselves. The Church is still in the dark ages , just look at the mess it is in when confronting issues such as homosexuality, birth control, it hasn't got an answer anymore. The truth is we have moved on and the sooner religion is consigned to the history books the better. We can think for ourselves now, we don't need religion to guide us through our lives. We can do it on our own.

Ye I am religious, I eat live and breath paganism. Religion is more than going to a church or visiting a temple it is a way of life. Its like asking in this busy and fast world is it such an issue still to eat or sleep. You do both these things as part of living so why should religion be so foriegn to you to include as part of your daily routine.

Yes I am.
And I think it is a issue. People may not be Christians, Catholics etc anymore, but I do think in a 'busy and fast world' religion is very much an issue: more than ever people are searching for the meaning of life. I believe the gnostic religions are getting more and more popular.

I think you might want to rephrase the question. I am not religious, but I am a faithful follower of God and His son Jesus Christ. there is a difference. It is my opinion that most of those that say they are religious are sunday morning christians, those that acknowledge God only on sunday mornings. I am not one of those. I see the beauty of God all around me on a daily basis. I am constant in converrsation with God ( 1thess 5:17). yes it is an issue because "being religious" is what's keeping the world from finding the truth in what the Bible tells us.

Everyone is religious in one way or another. But few choose true spirituality which is eternal life in Christ. Even liberalism is a religion with a complex belief system. Just because a zelous belief system lacks religious terminology doesn't mean that it's not a religion in disguise.

Of course I'm religious. Living in a modern world people fail to realise just how much they need God in their lives. Things on Earth do not last long, but God does. If anyone thinks it is not important they need to gain some perspective.

First I don't like what religion has done to mankind because people have used it to control the masses and send men to wars and tortured people in the name of god. Established religion has committed so many atrocies.
But do I believe in God? Yes and i don't think he likes religion
Because they lie in his name to get money. Praying people out of a place where they say a loving god tortures people.
This earth is hell. Not some distant place. Man thought up hell
that was never gods idea. For dust you are and to dust you will return. Thats what he said. And he didn't charge us for it

I am not religious at all. And being religious is not an issue to me. You can be a good or a bad person no matter if you're religious or not.

I dont think it should be. Everyone should believe in what ever they want to and let it stop there. Religion in the political world is NOT GOOD, and no matter how hard we try to separate it, the two seem to be inseperable. Anyway, that's not what you asked. Sorry. But I dont think believing in what one thinks is the true religion should be an issue. Religion should be private, because no matter how much other people argue, IT'S OKAY TO BELIEVE IN WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!
