I feel that I am a spiritual person because I have and try to maintain a relationship with my deities. I try to know my true self, but it seems to be a never-ending journey. I absolutely accept my negative as well as my positive traits. I feel that everyone and everything has positive and negative attributes---even my deities.

I know myself better now than I ever have. Of course I'm 46 years old, so I should. :) I do accept my fault and good points. However, I try to fix the faults the best I can with Gods help. :) I am a Christian (I know not the "in thing" right now). I study Gods Word daily. Good deeds is a good start on being a better person, but without God, I have nothing. :)

In order to be a complete and whole spiritual person, one has to accept ones 'faults' or shadow side and integrate this side into ones self.
It is not essential to follow one of the scripted beliefs, although some offer guidances for moral and ethical codes of conduct that are essential to a spiritual way of life, however that is only a minute part of the overall aspect of spirituality.
In essence to live a spiritual existance we needs to recognise that we are minute particles of the whole of creation and need to live a respectful way of life towards all life, in peace, harmony and joy. Accepting that we are co-creators of creation and our destiny within it!

Dear,
First of all there is no Spiritual person, only spiritual awareness. This means the awareness of self. Religions are the methods of achieving this. Unfortunately they are being miss-used. In this modern day we all have to develop a very rational way of spirituality. I mean it should have some basis on science too, but always remember that science too have limitations in explaining things. Be aware that we all have a universe within us.

Spiritual means - guided by spirit. Spirit is the share of our Creator dwelling within every individual. Those who are controlled by that power are called spiritual.

From my adviser (the spirit in me) what I learn is accept the faults at the first instance I realise it.

We as humans have things all backwards, we are already spirits playing as humans trying to remember that we are spirits. The real you is a all powerful spirit being temporarily extending itself into this reality similar to playing a video game. The goal is to incarnate with no memories of true self gain experiences in all races, genders, social/economical standings etc.. hundreds to thousands of times simultaneously throughout time and eventually have one incarnation awaken to search for whom you really are. So we are not humans in search of spirituality, but spirits immersed in the human experience. There is only 1 absolute truth to everything that exist but many roads that lead to it.

Everyone is a spirtual person, because everyone has a spirit. The Bible speaks about being born again of the spirit of God John's Gospel chapter 3. Flesh gives birth to flesh, spirit gives birth to spirit. In order to have a relationship with God, you need to be born again. i don;t know if i'm a spiritual person and am unsure of my beliefs but i really want to think there is something there because of my grandpa. Both my grandfathers were diagnosed with cancer, one was an atheist ... he seemed to give up and was dead within 2 months. The other grandfather was very religious and his faith sustained him. he lasted another 2 years and right up to the end he was very active in his church .... to me that has to mean something

yes definitely. Its being totally honest with myself and walking in balance on the path of truth that counts. And lets be honest, its only cause I've been such an absolute s___! that I know how to stay balanced now. That doesn't mean i don't tip the scales sometimes though!xxx
