It is not God who causes the cruelty in the world. That blame falls on the shoulders of those who seek personal gain and privialge above basic humanity. As for the hardship part, if life were perfect all the time how would you know when things were better than others? let me put it this way. if all pie tasted the same, how would you know if you were eating apple or cherry pie? God is all loving. He is all caring. he also waits on you to call.

God doesn't give us hardships, they are merely a part of life. Cruelty comes from those who have lost sight of God and have let the darkness rule their lives. When the going is hard, turn to Him and ask for his help. The help may not be what you want, but it will be what you need. There is a difference!

Because earth is the 'school of hard knocks'. So much negativity surrounds this planet, but we come here to get 'educated'. God doesn't give us hardships...we give ourselves hardships. We come here to experience the joys of life and the pains of life. Can you learn without experience heartache, sorrow, anger? No, you can't understand something until you experience it. Every hardships has a lesson to be learned that you personally picked for yourself to experience, to learn, and to grow, spiritually.

god does not cause us hardships... **** just happens.... i think god just does not have any direct connection with our lives.... i think god just started it.... the universe.... just kind of set the stage and then just lets what happens to happen... its not cruelty... it would be cruel if god did help some but not others and so on and so on... so to be fair no one is given any miracles or anything like that... some people get lucky.... some get unlucky... even though luck is not really tangible... more of a concept, thats the only way i've been able to grasp it myself... i just thought if i was god i wouldn't be that way..... doing a miracle here and there... and letting this person suffer here and there.... so if i would not be that way then i do not thing god would be either, thats my opinion

God doesn't give us the cruelty and hardships. They come from the Satan (the devil). God is there to help you deal with them. Just ask for his help and he will help you through all things.

God created perfection and gave humanity dominion over it (Gen 1).
Humanity decided to disobey God (Gen 3) and that not only broke the God/human relationship but damaged the way the physical world worked (Romans 8:20).
God did not go back on his word but allowed people to be the dominant force on earth. He became human as Jesus to re-establish the relationship through his death and will, one day, at the end of the age, take full control again and re-make the earth in perfection (Rev 21:21).
So, God does not cause suffering and will one day remove it. Until then he shares our suffering and comforts us if we allow him to.

He gives us hardships so we can learn from them. The cruelty is outstandingly bad now, but we all have something new to learn from them.

Why does God permit suffering?
Who really is to blame for it?
Humans are to blame for much of the suffering. They fight wars, commit crimes, pollute the environment, often carry on business in a manner motivated by greed rather than concern for their fellowman, and sometimes indulge in habits that they know can be harmful to their health. When they do these things, they hurt others and themselves. Should it be expected that humans would be immune to the consequences of what they do? Is it reasonable to blame God for these things that humans themselves do?
Satan and his demons also share responsibility. The Bible discloses that much suffering is because of the influence of wicked spirits. The suffering for which so many people blame God does not come from him at all.
How did suffering get started? Examination of the causes focuses attention on our first human parents, Adam and Eve. Jehovah God created them perfect and put them in paradise surroundings. If they had obeyed God, they would never have got sick or died. They could have enjoyed perfect human life forever. Suffering was not part of Jehovah’s purpose for mankind. But Jehovah clearly told Adam that continued enjoyment of what He had given them depended on obedience.
Obviously, they had to breathe, eat, drink, and sleep in order to continue living. And they had to keep God’s moral requirements in order to enjoy life fully and to be favored with such life forever. But they chose to go their own way, to set their own standards of good and bad, and thus they turned away from God, the Life-Giver. (Gen. 2:16, 17; 3:1-6)
Sin led to death. It was as sinners that Adam and Eve produced children, and they could not pass on to their children what they no longer had. All were born in sin, with inclinations toward wrongdoing, weaknesses that could lead to illness, a sinful inheritance that would eventually result in death. Because everyone on earth today was born in sin, all of us experience suffering in various ways..
Ecclesiastes 9:11 says that “time and unforeseen occurrence” also have a bearing on what happens to us. We may get hurt, not because the Devil directly causes it or because any human does it, but because by chance we are in a place at the wrong moment.
