Weight has alot to do with your genes, not your jeans. How tall are you. I would avoid the Atkins diet and South Beach diet and avoid all the pills. These are only temporary. I'm 6ft 4, 190lbs. Two years ago, I wieghed 205 lbs. Not over weight, but I wanted to weigh what I weighed in the Marine Corps back in 1996, which was 190lbs. I ate cereal, for breakfast, coffee, juice, multi-vitamin. For Lunch, I ate a piece of fruit, and drank water throughout the day. I cut out all soda for at least a few months unless it was diet w/ no sugar. After eating fruit at lunch, I'd go on at least a 30 min power walk. Maybe 2-3 months later, I was back to 190 lbs. I then went to the gym a min of 3 times a week, just to tone, keep my abs firm, and keep up with cardio. It is something some people have a tough time with. Others, can eat whatever they want and not exercise at all. Genes and family history have a lot to do with wieght, more than people know. For dinner, I eat at least one vegetable, one meat (about 1/5 lbs) chicken, or beef. I try to stay away from fast food or fried foods. I may indulge once a week or every two weeks. I may have a small desert at lunch, maybe fruit or sometimes a small snack cake of some kind. No munchies at night before bed time!!! That's it. Hope this helps.

People say I am skinny. I am about 6'0" and hover around 160 pounds. I eat more than the average Joe, though, because I am extremely active.

Yesterday, I ate:
Preworkout:
1 Whey Protein Shake (with skim milk)

Breakfast:
2 Sandwiches on Whole Wheat with fake hi protein Veggie slices
8 oz of skim milk.

Snack
2 bananas

Lunch
1 Blimpie's Veggie Sandwhich.
1 Soda pop (about 12 oz).

Early Dinner
1 Lb of Catfish
12 oz of Almond Milk
1 large salad with raspberry vinigrette.
1 ear of corn.
Asparagus / Zuchinni fried in olive oil.
1 Creme Brulee (Yeah I know it's bad, but I enjoy cooking).

Late Snack.
1 Plain, low fat yogurt with fresh blueberries.

All of this may sound like a lot and it is, but you have to realize I workout in the morning (weight lifting). Usually in the late afternoons I'll burn through another 500 calories when I run.

I think you can eat big, if you train big.

Well, I'm 5 ft 2 in and weigh 105. I usually have a cup of coffee in the morning. Mid morning at work, I eat apple/cin oatmeal. For lunch I usually eat a frozen dinner of some sort (I work at a hospital and the food is horrible). At night, I don't eat a whole lot. I'm usually too busy keeping up after my husband and 3 kids. If I do have time to eat, I'm usually just snacking. Sometimes I eat a bowl of cereal.

Start with a boiled egg in the morning, lunch will consist of a chef salad with lunch meat on it (no dressing), and for dinner - go with a broiled fish or chicken meal. The key is to stay active - now that it's summer....get out and do things around the house, walk, run, etc. Never eat past 8:00 PM, because then your on the sofa watching TV and that food just sits in your belly and is stored as fat. Good luck!

And a hot dog at 1. After that I ate a bowl of leftover bolognaise at 3pm and for dinner I had Chcken Tikka with fries, coke, salad and naan bread, followed by yoghurt ice cream.
