because you liked this guy you almost had blinkers on and you probably wouldn't be writing this if you were still with him ? i take it your not . its easy to see things after a advent and that's just life I'm afraid .
don't worry about it as you and he might have had a wonderful life together and then the fact that your mate liked him wouldn't even be important .
hope you and your mate haven't fallen out about it as men are not worth falling out over !!
situations are hard to see when were in them and believe me you will make loads of mistakes similar to this one in your life time . good luck x

becos while you were going tru that phase you felt dating the guy was what you needed. but it wasn't, it was what you wanted. so next time always ask yourself do you want or need this, that way you put yourself in the right frame of mind to deal with it
