Why not just abolish ALL the handouts, and turn off the magnet altogether? I like that idea way better...

As we speak, the senate and the house of representatives have each drafted seperate bills to address "Illegal Immigration" Congress is debating the seperate bills to try to achieve a solid compromise that will be acceptable to the American public. We dont really need a "new" law, we already have laws to address this issue, what we need is for our elected officials to grow a backbone and facilitate the enforcement of Americas existing Immigration laws. At this point in time, I believe that Americans would support the enforcement and status confirmation nationwide, no matter the cost.

if thats the case, why don't we make a law that every lazy able person on public aid should b forced to get a job or benefits will stop. why don't we get a law that gives ALL americans health insurance? why don't we bring our troops back from IRAQ? why don't we stop the increase of the cost of oil? See my point? why don't we pass a law that gives ssecurity to the illegal immigrants that have paid into ss, fed & state taxes w/o a tax refund for how ever many yrs they've paid? see its a give & take world so sometimes u win sometimes u loose. oh well, i probably won't even get ssecurity cuz it will b gone by the time i'm eligible. oh well, sh**happens.

We would need a caveat that stated that No SS for 10 years if we do not have a reciprocal agreement with your previous country and can't prove you paid anything into it.

No ... All citizens have the same rights under the constitution ... That's what the Civil Rights movement was all about.
