Concerning the debate going on about intelligent design and evolution: is it possible that the final answer about which of these two seemingly opposite ideas is correct could simply be yes?
With one position firmly held by the believers and the other just as fearlessly defended by the non-believers, if you happen to be in a position somewhere near the middle, it does not look all that complex. From this position, you wonder why either-or has to be the answer.
If you believe that some higher being created the universe by intelligent design, what more elegant and intelligent design could there have been than a self-regulating system that continually checks its own errors and makes its own corrections in mid-stream as an integral part of the process.
This all seems quite logical to me although it probably won’t satisfy the believers because they are afraid to see any truth other than the one they have been told to believe in. Inversely it certainly won’t satisfy the non-believers because it leaves them stuck with a god that they are so obviously terrified of.
To sum up this view from the center, it might be most easily be explained by saying perhaps the designer was intelligent. Problem is, the designer was likely so intelligent that those seeking to prove that it is intelligently designed may be incapable of ever understand it well enough to see it for the elegant self regulating design that it has always been.
The nonbelievers will be similarly handicapped due to the internal terror the have about the idea that there may be a God. Neither side being able to leave their entrenched position for fear they may have to admit they were wrong. While the rest of us stand by trying to figure out what all the fuss is about. Personally I don’t think anyone is wrong, I just feel both sides are about half right

DARWIN SAYS HIS TEORY IS NO MORE WITH HIS OWN WORDS!!!
In Asia, Africa and Australia lives a remarkable creature the archerfish that shoots down its prey from the air above it with a burst of water. It uses its tongue and the top of its mouth to form a groove simiilar to a gun barrel. Then by compressing its gills it squirts water up to six feet with deadly accuracy -- in spite of the distortion caused by seeing the target from below the surface of water.
Evolutionists still don't know how the archerfish got its amazing abilities. They can only wonder. Viewid through the distortion of evolution they cannot explain how the archerfish gradually learned to not aim where its eyes see but to aim instead at a different spot where the target actually is.
Without its binocular vision it couldnot see the object with such precision and without the special shape of the upper mouth and a specialized tongue it could not make the groove it needs to shoot lthe concentrated jet of water. Many factors have to appear together and be perfectly formed for this shooting mechanism to work. This of course goes totally against Charles Darwin's evolutionary theory which is based on a gradual step by step process.
Darwin wrote in (The Origin of Species)-- "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous successive slight modifications my theory would absolutely break down"(1859, p. 171).
The archerfish offers precisely such an example since several complex systems must all appear at the same time perfectly and not gradually formed--binocular vision,a specialized mouth and tongue, specialized gills to compress and expel water and an aiming system based in the brain and not in the eyes. If any of these parts is missing the mechanism will not hit the target and no survival advantage is created.
When you get down to the facts the archerfish with one squirt of its gills shoots down Charles Darwin's entire theory of evolution and that by Darwin's own admission!!!
So evolution doesn't have the answer to this mystery. But the Bible does. Genesis 1:20-21 says that God created all the creatures that live in the water. He created a great variety of perfectly formed fish including the archerfish with all its special features such as binocular vision other specialized organs and a built in ability to compenste for the distortion of the water

"Why can't Evolutionists learn to live with the fact Creationists will never bow to Evolution Theory?"
The KKK used to ask, "Why can't black people learn to live with being lynched since they'll never be the equal of white people?"
That does not infer that you are a racist, but it certainly does make the point: it is the religiously ignorant who will eventually change, and not the enlightened.

Scientist (evolutionary) are desperately looking for an alternative theory to evolution. They know its dead. The best they can do over the last 60 years is come up with Intelligent Design. It is anathema to them, it is almost a curse word to them, but somehow a few of them can manage to mouth it.

The sadness of it is that they come to section to shove it upon creationists when they don't have a pot to piss in! Evolution is non-absolute. People that believe that they are created from rocks, monkeys or accidents are mentally ill. It makes more sense to be created by a higher power! Thank You,JESUS!

Evolution is a farce. I can't believe they let them teach it in public schools. It's never been observed in a lab or in nature. To think that one species can come from a totally different species is pure lunacy and not backed up by any scientific data whatsoever.
We did not come from rocks people.

I do not honestly believe in either as fact. but am willing to meet you halfway or at a point that we can agree on.
I am here now, what I do this day is what is of any importance, not a preconcieved notion or argument about how I came to be here, that is an excersize in futility as it really serves no purpose as to advanceing anything of importance, like feeding people , or housing people, or loveing all, list is endless.

Exactly. There is no proof to support evolution. There have been NO fossils found that show the transition that evolution claims.

Yes of course, making a human being out of dirt is much more probably than creatures evolving over time adapting to their environment (haven't we done this to live in cities instead of caves?), but jeez try and tell that to a fundy.
