As I understand it a Pyrotechnician is able to purchase the really big fireworks, and at a somewhat reduced cost. I hope that someone could possibly lead me in the right direction. I want to light up my street next year.

You need a burning desire to be a pyrotechnicial.....LOL!

In some localities fireworks are illegal, so before you start, you should know if you're apt to run into trouble with the law. Because of the possible damage from falling debris, you might consider an empty lot or field near your home. Some people don't enjoy the noise...if you want to impress people, tell them about it in advance and get the neighborhood involved.
