To mold a human and teach them all that you mentioned is the biggest responsibility you will have in your life so It is completely normal to worry. Sounds to me like you have good values and are doing a great job!

I have two grown children, and all mothers have that same feeling. It is mothers nature to worry that we are doing something wrong. We always want to do better. But as long as you are doing your best, and it sounds like you are, then don't worry. You and your husband are still together, and that is the most important thing in raising a child. Both parents need to be present. Your children will grow up with all the morals you have taught them, then some. They will make you proud. And if something does happen that one does disappoint you, remember that you did the best you could, and there is nothing you could have done differently that would change the way things happen. We all go through trials in life, and that is to teach us all. good luck

Absolutely. It's kind of like the crazy theory. You know how it is generally believed that as long as you question your sanity, you must be sane? Well, as long as you question your parenting, you are probably doing the right thing.

I feel like I am all the time....my son reads on a 6th grade level & he is in 3rd grade....but my daughter is struggling to read...& has dislexia....so I feel like sometimes it is my fault....like I am not doing enough with her....even though I know sometimes I am pushing her too hard...not intentionally.....There are ALOT of times I feel inadequate as a parent.

All the time. I've asked my mother and she (had 5 kids) felt the same way too.
