I thought the world was too young for that sort of thing...

As a Christian Pastor I would be an idiot to deny the fact that dinosaurs once roamed this earth.

I can offer no logical explanation for this.

I still believe GOD created it all and I still believe the BIBLE is accurate.

I'm not a christian but the question applies to all that believe in the world being created in seven days as record\ed in the old testament. It is written in the midrash ( a commentary on the old testament as old as the old testament itself) that there were dinosaurs before the flood, and that only one made it into Noah's ark. That dinosaur was killed by Abraham after it destroyed many towns and generally wreaked havoc on society. As for the age of the bones, The mistake is with the archaeologist and scientists who base there aging system on assumed factors of weather. They don't take into account the fact that a flood as recorded in the bible with boiling hot water would change all those factors immensely, thus rendering there entire system obsolete. In fact every few years they themselves admit to there failings when they announce a new system and a new age to the world.

In the bible doesnt say anything about the word dinosaurs, but however they talk about big animals that existed in the earth and if we look at the bible from your point of view we will be asking if "Adan and Eva where white?? from where it comes the black, chiness, indians and other kind of razes in teh world????... some things my dear are not to be answer in the simple way that you want to so you can understand, but it is true that there are unsolved misteries even for the science...

I forget where I saw this, but there are fossilized human footprints inside dinosaur footprints - believed to have been formed at approximately the same time. I am pretty sure they are in Texas. I have seen a fossilized leaf that appears to be existing in strata from several thousand years - how can this be? Maybe we don't really understand everything that we think we know about how fossils and rock strata are formed??

Some hold that they were a first earth age creation(before Adam was created and before the Genesis account) and were destroyed. That is why Adam was told to REpopulate the world.
Others think they were present up to and even after the flood.Based on the descriptions of behemoth in Job(which also describe Leviathan,a dragon).
Some still discount them a deceptions of Satan.(not many)

They were evil and left off the ark as Noah loaded it with about a billion species, some from islands no man had set foot on (they all had to be there, because they certainly didn't evolve from a few root species)....

Or you could just realize its superstition and not a critical part of Christianity.

2 words. noah's flood. theres no denying the actual bones except maybe the ones on the set of juracic park haha. God had and still has the power to control what lives and what doesnt. he does it everyday, demaning lives of people. why? because we sin. the penalty for sin is death. easy. but yeah, noahs flood they were wiped out. hence all the silt and sediment on top of them.

as for earths age, its not millions of years young, its thousands of years young. and not too young either. God doesnt abide by human standards.

Christians have been made to believe they need to follow the bible literally. How brainwashed can you get!!. They need to take their heads out of the sand and look around.
