31 miles. wish i were closer, but i bought my house years ago when gas was < 1.00$ A GALLON. i would find another job closer, but i have way too many years in my company for that and my bennys are too good!! i do drive a Small car and negotiated a compressed work week to alleviate the gas pump blues. i am seriously considering buying a diesel vehicle like a jetta or golf that gets 45 to 50 mpg?????

It depends on the day. If I am working in the office, it is about 18 miles each way. If I am at an auction, it is anywhere from 90 to 150 miles each way.
I drive over 1000 miles a week average for work!

It's about 16 miles one way to work.
Today I took a bus for the bulk of that, and then waked the last couple of miles across the ohio river bridge.
50 miles Deelish??? And I thought I lived in the boondocks when I had to drive 25 miles.

I rode a bus to work and it was about 11 miles each way so it 22 miles total and it took about 1 1/2 hours trip each way.....
