yep, its awlful to be in pain from reflux, and the asthma is horrible on me too...
my son also has the same reactions and hes 10 months old.. btw the first 2 months he cried almost nonstop, day and night....

go to your stomach doc, get a new set of test including a ph probe study, try new meds, also there are surgical cures for it....

if you are not on meds for your gerd that is the first thing you need to do because if not you will continue to be irritable and you have to find the right on until it works it may take a while but when you find the right meds it will make it alittle better also asthma might make you that way if you are having an attack because you get scared from having a hard time breathing good luck

Are u on meds for your asthma?
Oftentimes meds used to help your asthma...even inhalers have ingredients in them that can cause irritability. Ask the doctor who may be prescribing those meds if this could be a bothering you. There are alternative herbs that are used to help people relax such as Valerian, kava kava & chamomile. Please get someone who knows what reactions these may or may not cause with the meds u r on. Chamomile is probably the safest and easy to take in pills, capsules or tea. Feeling ill with GERD & asthma can make u irritable too.. Don't hate yourself for that. Try looking into relaxation exercises to help yourself when u start to feel this way. find a medical professional who is willing to listen & try to help you with your concerns! Don't let them "blow you off"

You are irritable because you're uncomfortable. Get a doctor who can treat your symptoms so you don't experienced the pain anymore. Find some good antacids and get some better asthma medication. When you feel well you'll behave well.

of course, you'd feel not only irritable but miserable! sometimes, people who are not sick -- don't really understand other people's situation. i truly understand what you are going through and why you feel irritable -- if you are suffering from something, naturally a person will not be in a sunny or cheery mood because of that.

if your irritability bothers you and other people -- i think you would need to explain to them why you have been irritable lately. sometimes, apologizing and explaining to other people helps them understand your situation. don't hate yourself, it's just merely saying "im sorry if i haven't been nice lately, it's just that because of my disease, i haven't been feeling well"

Are you taking meds for the asthma, even inhalers? They can cause those symptoms.
