Im planning to have a kiddie party for my 1 year old baby boy pls help me having a theme & other needs?

pls help me, I need a party theme appropriate for a 1yr old... any suggestions for the games and food to be served for the children and menu for the grown ups. the party will be done during snack time at around 3-5pm.

First, a little reality check. If you're doing a party for a one year old, the party is actually for you. Your one year old will not understand, care or remember anything about this party and somewhere down inside, you know that. This is for show. It's for the pictures you'll pass around later and the socialization with the parents of the other babies I assume you'll invite to the party. With that in mind, plan something that will be enjoyable for you and the other parents. You could do something like ask the parents to bring their babies dressed up as what they'll be when they grow up, for instance. You could have future presidents, NFL quarterbacks, movie stars, billionaires...you get the idea. You're dealing with the parents' hopes, dreams and ambitions, not the kids, so be honest about it. You could all have some fun. Meanwhile, the little ankle biters will go on merrily filling their diapers, smearing chocolate cake all over themselves and the dog, and swiping each others' party favors. Everyone will feel better about it if you don't pretend this is for the child, believe me.

What about Blue's Clues, Toy Story, or The Wiggles?
A pool party with a little kiddie pool for the kids?
As for games maybe hide and seek and maybe just have some beach balls to play with?

You could have an icecream sundae bar, have the kids get a scoop of ice cream, a sugar cone for the hat, raisins, cherries, and chocolate chips for the face.

A one year old won't even remember this party. I'm not sure what kind of games one year old's can play. I would keep it really simple and small...family only...and save the themed parties for when the child is older, can enjoy more and will remember.

I think zoo animals are appropriate. You know what would be really fun for young kids is bringing in small, live animals like bunnies and tiny turtles. It is always fun to have a hands-on experience with animals. Well for food, you could have finger food such as mini hot dogs.

There's Sesame Street or Barney. For the food for kids hot dogs or cold cut sandwiches drinks: punch or water. For the adults chicken, cheeseburgers, or barbcue ribs. Drink: Soda or other juice (no beer or wine). For both lots of cake, ice cream, and fun. Dont forget to take pictures.

Sesame street, Pooh submit to, Blues Clues, Jay Jay the Jet airplane, Elmo, Or Dora the Explorer, Nemo..i'm positive many extra will probably come to concepts. 365 days olds will like in simple terms being round others their same age, and into twiddling with any toys laying round. when we had a 365 days celebration, Our son become pleased with the bins and the wrappers..and many sweet at that age he loved handing out sweet and sharing with all of us. nutrition - Suckers, cupcakes, mac n cheese in simple terms in case some favor to eat, perhaps get a lengthy sandwich from Subway, pop, water, juice.... in simple terms have relaxing and bypass with the bypass, you could truly save 365 days olds in any order. believe me its ruff. Get goody bags they might like that with stickers and crayons, coloring books.... Congrats on the toddler, and desire you've a pleased birthday.
