i still think about him. i shouldn't but i still do.

for your information, i am not married. i never was married. let me put it this way, i'm too young to get married. =)

My first "Love" was over 17 years ago and I still catch myself thinking about her! She broke my heart, but there is still a small place in my heart where she exist and my guess is that she will always be there.

But my love of over 10 years is my wonderful wife and I don't know what I would do if she were not in the picture!

I take it you were married for some time and as such you obviously loved your Husband. That hasn't changed for you and that is why you're still thinking so much about him.
You're asking how long will you be thinking about him. Most likely all your life as you will never completely forget him. Do you remember your first love , what it was like , what loked like then ?
You see you do remember :))))))) and you will remember your ex as well in this way.

I think there are just some fellings that unfortunately dont go away when youve truely cared for someone.
