you don't just "become" a vegetarian. it's something you should choose to do. is there a reason you don't like them? do you think it's immoral to eat animal meat or animal products? if you think this way, you should think about actually choosing to become a vegetarian. if not, you could just be loosing your taste for these food; tastes change.

and by the way, if you decided not to eat ice cream, that would be becoming a "vegan" someone who doesn't eat meat OR animal products (ie. eggs and milk)

You may and you may not consider the following:

1)Can you live without eating Meat fot the REST OF YOUR LIFE?
2)Is it healthy to become a Vegitarian?{ from my prospective YES and NO}
3)Is anyone else like your friends and parents Vegetarians?
4)Will you stay a Vegitarian?

THOSE QUESTIONS MAY HELP YOU MAKE YOUR DECISION

Dear Gurlygirl221,
Canine are present in our buccal cavity for tearing meat of other animals and our digestive system can digest veg as well as non-veg. If God Almighty wanted us to have only veg, why did he give us canine and the digestive system that can digest both? Further more, most people base their arguement against non-vegetarianism upon the principle of killing living things.

They say that killing a living creature is a wrong act. They

fail to realise that even plants have got life. Some people

further say that I agree that they have got life but they can't

feel pain. So I tell them that today, science has got even

more advanced and science tell that plants can even cry,

they can even feel happy. So, your logic has failed. One

person went to the extent saying that plants have got two

or three senses, animals have got 5 senses. Therefore,

killing an animal is a bigger crime. I tell them that suppose,

you have a brother who was born blind and deaf, two

senses less. When he grew up, someone kills him. Will you

tell the judge that please give the murderer less

punishment because my brother had two senses less? The

logic doesn't work that way.
Some people propose that Islam is a ruthless religion. You

slaughter the animals and they feel pain. Its a barbaric

religion. Its nothing but their lack of awareness. In Islamic

method of slaughtering animals, animal dies a PAINLESS

death. The animal contracts and relaxes not due to the

pain, but due to the gush of the flow of blood. In Islamic

method of slaughtering animals, most of the blood flows

out of the body of the animal because we know that blood

is a good medium of germs and bacteria.
Some people put a new logic, they say that science tells us

that whatever we eat has an effect of your behaviour so

eating animals, makes you ferocious. This is the reason

that we, MUSLIMS are allowed only to eat herbivore animals

like cow, goat, sheep etc. These are peacful animals. We

Muslims are peace loving people. We are not allowed to

have lion, tiger, leopard.

-veg, you can contact me at:

You don't have to put a label on your likes and dislikes.

If you don't want to deal with the negative-stereotype of vegitarians than don't classify as one.

On the other hand, if you do not eat anything that is made from any animal products than you may as well call yourself what you are...

healthy.

I think your confusing "becoming a vegitarian" with a preferance diet for certain foods. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but vegans don't eat milks products, just veggies. And you have to eat some of everything I'd think to consider yourself a vegitarian. Be who you want to be..... Don't become something.

Why don't you try becoming a vegetarian again? If you are that emotional towards slaughtering, and don't care much for meat anyways it might be worth a try. Morningstar and Bocca have great products. Good Luck :)

You are not becoming vegetarian. But you can be a vegetarian by quiting all meat and other non-veg items, if you really want to. It is not the taste buds that we satisfy, but health should be of the top most priority. Unfortunately, what is tasty for tongue is not good for health & what is good for health not necessarily be tasty. You define your preferences yourself.

If you are uncomfortable with the thought of an animal dying for your breakfast pattie, you should be a vegetarian. There are all sorts of levels, I know a lot of 'fishetarians' who will eat fish because they are not as complex an animal as a cow. If it bothers you, STOP. Or come to terms with it.

You are who you are. It does not sound like you are becoming a vegetarian. You are one. Don't worry about it.

You should talk with your doctor though and make sure you are getting enough protean in your diet. Normally I eat meat, myself; but, whenever I don't feel like it I will eat beans for the protean.
