I always have girls who I know touching me on the arm, smiling, and bumping into me. When I eventually show interest after a few times they always lose interest. What the heck is going on? I am completely confused!

Maybe you're misreading what the touching, smiling and bumping into really means. It isn't necessarily an indication they're interested in the way you mean. Girls are often more openly friendly and communicative by nature. Maybe when you show interest it's coming off a little strong when all they meant was friendship. A chance to know you, not jump into a BF/GF thing. Learn to simply be a friend and that may open the door to the right girl later.

Ha, my Bestfriend is one of those girls. see girls like that are very hard to deal with. specially if you are a really nice guy. see they are showing signs of interest but they are all about the chase. usually they like guys who are hard to get. you have to like let them call you back and all that. as soon as a guy is like okay ya i like you they get bored. so the whole point is to play hard to get. really hard. don't show interest till they are eating out of the palm of your hand.
