Why do Mexicans fly Mexican Flags in USA?

I think this is the best country to be born in, and I think that everone else in the world cant deal with that. I mean why cant all these other countries get it together. Like the Mexican government for example. I am of Mexican descent, born in USA, I dont see the point of flying the Mexican flag, the Government there doesnt take care of anyone, so what about being Mexican is so great?I am pround that I am a decendant of Aztecs, and Pround of the Heritage of my ancestors hard work. But quite honestly, the best thing they did was to come to the USA. Not ashamed to be Mexican, but really what is so great about Mexico? What has Mexico done for you?

BTW, I dont think Mexicans are sub-human. I understand why Mexicans try to come to USA, who wouldnt want to be an American...

You are right. I respect you for saying this. That never made any sense to me either and frankly, I think it's an insult to veterans in this country.

I agree, Mexico has some great heritage and historical achievements, dating back to the Incas and Aztecs. They were an advanced people until they trusted the Spaniards and shown them the gold. Then the Spanish kicked their peaceful butts, took the gold and successfully killed their culture and replaced it with Catholicism. Mexico is now the rue of the global society. The only things they seem to produce is drugs and coffee, but primarily drugs it would seem. The coffee is just a viable export so they have something to smuggle their drugs in.(?)

As far as the flag goes...Globally, flying a foreign flag on another countries soil is a sign of occupation. Once a country has been successfully invaded and is considered "occupied as territory", it is customary to raise the flag of the invader. The Spanish have done it and so did the Germans during WW2, The British also, and many more.So rightfully, the Mexicans enjoy flying their flag over US soil, not so much out of national pride but a slap in the faces of Americans, that they were able to invade our country, and without every there being a war. Perhaps the flag should also be flown over every Social Security office, since it was S.S. who financed the whole invasion. I believe the war would only begin if we tried to drive them out and return them to their own country.

Because until the Mexican American war in 1846-1848 was declared under "manifest destiny" California,Arizona, New Mexico,Nevada,Texas and part of Louisanna was Mexico ..We took their land away from them just like we did the Indians .. I'm learning to speak Spanish just to be ready... You can find this information recorded in History sites, just type in "Mexican American war" or "Manifest Destiny". While you're at it look up Hongkong to see how the British took it away from the Chinese as result of drugs .. May as well look up privateteers to see what they did to the Spanish and how the Spanish treated the Aztecs /// All for money whether it be land ,drugs or oil we'll kill for it. Why does anybody fly any flag? I'm not sure I see any point in that either, but whatever the answer to that is, it's probably the same for Mexicans flying the Mexican flag in any given location. (I don't think it usually has anything to do with pride in the government.)

obviously, I am not Hispanic...

But I do not see anything wrong w/displaying their flag, as long as the American Flag, flies higher. This country was built on diversity, and we are made up of every nationality, religious group, and dumbazzes(lol), known to man. That is fact and it makes me quite proud.

People have the right to be proud of where they or their ancestors hail from, and to display that pride.

With that in mind, an American, should never, ever(get a rope, boyz) esteem anything; country, flag, or allegiance above THE STRONG & FREE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!

Being a free American means sometime you have to put up with people that have different views than you. I agree with you, but I know we have to have a tolerance for others. I have flown the american flag in 4 different countries, but not as a symbol against the local goverment, just as respect to my Country. When your flag is used as a political statement, it loses value.

Because mexicans are slow, they try to show they're patriotism fo their country, but i bet that they don't even know how they're country really is right now... it's what US will be in a decade or two if the US dont do sh1t about the immigration problems with mexicans

That is what criminals do. They break our laws, disrespect our country and our people. Bleed us dry and sponge off of what is for our citizens and those here legally. Do what they want to and not care about anyone else. Then to add salt to the would, they fly a flag from a foreign country in the one that they are in illegally. These people are criminals, have a criminal mentality, and need to be deported as soon as possible.

Mexicans want to take over our country and have their own culture in the areas they settle in. Most of the illegals are loyal to Mexico. We gave up our country without a fight. Bush wants open borders and the government is instructed to leave illegals alone. There are so many millions here now that they are assured amnesty with Bush in office......)(
