1. You can only ask ONE question. So think carefully of what you want to ask, and how you would ask it. This question should be THE QUESTION - something of utmost importance that you want to know.
2. The question must be respectful of God with an approach of humility with a sincere desire to know - as a child is curious to understand, learn, and know the truth of what is asked - so questions that are judgemental, profane, disrespectful, with a spirit of (pride/rebellion/unbelief/hatred/blame), will not be accepted.
3. Provide with the question an EXPLANATION that clarifies what you are TRULY SEEKING FOR.
4. Do not ask a question within your explanation.
5. You can only ask a question, not make a prayer request. You can make a prayer request to God in secret.
The purpose of this exercise is to get you to THINK HARD of what you would ask God if you can ask Him ANYTHING - BUT you can only ask Him ONE THING.
What would that question be?
And then ask God directly...

To Jeebus Bellows: Have you not read what is written in Matthew 7.21-23:
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Who are these people who prophesy, cast out devils, and do wonderful works in God's name?
Isaiah 29.13; Matthew 15.8
"Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near [me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:"
Are you one of these people?

The Meaning of Life is the answer to this question:
God, what is Your purpose of Existence?
For God's purpose of Existence itself defines the purpose of all that exists.
I asked God that question...
God answered, "My purpose of Existence is To give life. Since you are made in My image after My likeness, then YOUR purpose of existence is to give life."
Everything that exists is an expression of God's thinking; thus, everything reflects God's thinking.
God gives life by His unique existence, and receives life when He gives life. All of existence gives life by its unique existence to that which receives life from its unique existence. This is Nature - the union of all living (eternal) things.
You are here to give life by your unique existence to that which receives life from your unique existence. So do what you love that nourishes those who love what you love.
This is your purpose.

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

An excerpt of this answer found in this link:
....God, Who removed you from the Book of Life when you sinned against Him, became flesh to suffer and die to restore you to the Book of Life.
You were once His, but you became separated from Him. He did everything possible to make it possible for you to be restored to Him through His gift of Himself. Because He gave you a free will, He will not force you to be restored to Him, He has simply extended an invitation to you to come back to Him.
All you have to do is accept His invitation to be restored to Him as a "son of God" (the term "son" is gender neutral).

To badbilly, Mishy, connie h, and norm n:
Why do I allow evil to exist?
The suffering you see in the world is the expression of an inverted free will. Shall I express My power and remove free will from all men (including yours) to cause evil to cease?
If I were to remove free will from man, they would no longer be made in My image. I created man with a free will before they inverted. Knowing that man would invert, I provided a way for them to be reverted before death to avoid eternal separation from Me.
I chose to die for their sins instead of forcefully removing their will to cause evil within them to cease. Does that show a lack of power or compassion?
Evil is the opposite of Live. LIVE spelled backwards is EVIL. Evil exists because man expresses evil.
Would it be considered love to force man to cease evil when they can choose to do so by repentance of their sins?
I allow evil because I gave man a free will; which I will NOT take back against My nature.

To say that I put the burden of Parkinson's disease on your father is to believe that I judged him for a sin when the wages of sin is death and My gift is eternal life.
Do you believe that I take pleasure in his suffering; when his suffering is the result of the sin he was born with and not My judgement?
How is it that those like your earthly father have the disease and not others?
There were those who had the palsy when I walked the earth, was that a result of My judgement?
Genetic diseases are the result of sin, not judgement. I could heal your father; because healing does not come forth speedily does not mean that I do not love him.
Do not cease praying for your father to be healed.

The reason you see a response to the questions is because I can hear God's voice; and I asked Him to answer the questions through me. Which is why you see a response in first person as if God was speaking to you directly.
Please understand that I don't consider myself a prophet or any type of special individual with a gift. I consider myself someone who is fortunate to have a close communion with God that He has chosen to sensitize me to His voice.

Isaiah 55.8, 9
For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Jeremiah 9.23, 24
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I [am] the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these [things] I delight, saith the LORD.

I know that it sounds weird but it was a question in my philosophy paper in my last year at high school. it is not a wind up. Apparently it has to do with the ability we as human beings have to make complex statements but unable to Analise them. a supreme being will be able to explain why we chase the greener side, always at the other side of the fence. Is this a question? is just the beginning of questioning our own reasoning

The Ocean of Tao
Cannot be called an ocean
For there is nothing else to give it name.
There is no sky above it,
No earth below it,
No shore that surrounds it.
And so it "is".
And yet, "it" is not.
For what is "it" if there is nothing else?
And so there is only "one".
And yet, there is not.
For "one" to be, there must be "two".
And there is not.
There is only entire.
And yet, there is not.
For to be entire Is to measure complete.
And can there be measure Of what has no beginning or end?
Void of name; Void of substance; Void of measure.
Such things define nothingness-
But only if such things "are".
And, since the "are" not, What is?
Everything and Nothing-
The Ocean of Tao
That can not be called an ocean,
or even Tao.

QUESTION - God, if You knew that mankind would become so evil, why did You create us?
EXPLANATION - God wanted a relationship with mankind. But, being omniscient, He knew that we would rebel and choose to distance ourselves from Him. He knew that we would cause Him great pain, yet He made us anyway. The only answer I can give to my question is that He was willing to take the risk of being hurt by many if a few chose to love Him and have a relationship with Him.

The reason I ask is that even those who believe in GOD try to reason with heathens. I don't understand how someone can actually believe that the existence of GOD is something that can be proved using reason.

Explaniation- if there is so much evil in the world than how can god be these 3 things. ifgod knows about evil and cares about it but cant stop it then hes not all powerful. if he cares about it can do something about it but dosent know about it then hes not all knowing. and if knows about it, can do something about it but dosent know about it than he is not compassionae. therefore it is impossible for you god to be an almighty god.
