How long does the common cold virus live on a toothbrush?

At least 24 hours, or as long as the brush is damp. I douse mine with alchohol after I use it in the morning. Since I started that, I've not caught any colds.

Viruses have a form of protection once that they are out side human body.Cocoon.That way some disease are air born.On a toothbrush? hard to say!

If in doubt about any viruses, wash tooth brush with bleach!
Let the brush dry out!
Or for a couple of bucks, purchase another!
