Tofu is good for the body. It's made of soy beans. You will be like a vegetarian and tofu will keep you cool. The energy you will release is sort of lesser hot. You will always become analytical and in good mood. You remain calm and you have control on what you do. And you will become physically fit. Last, but not the least, you lose weight.

Yes. Here's some facts for you taken from inmamaskitchen.com:
Tofu is a high-quality protein, containing all nine amino acids. It is also a good source of B-vitamins and iron. There are many different curdling agents used to make tofu among them calcium. If made with calcium, it is also a nutritionally sound source of calcium. Check the package label.Tofu also contains isoflavones, which may help to prevent chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease.
Half of the calories in tofu come from fat, however, tofu is low in saturated fat and cholesterol-free. Generally, the softer the tofu, the lower the fat content. Tofu is also very low in sodium. According to the FDA, clinical studies have shown that consumption of soy compared to other protein, such as those from milk or meat, lowers total and LDL cholesterol. Asian women don’t suffer the side effects of menopause like Western women do, including hot flashes and osteoporosis, thanks to estrogen- and calcium-packed soy. Isoflavones are naturally-occurring plant compounds that have been attributed in numerous medical and scientific studies to reducing risk of colon, breast and prostate cancer.
And if you don't like tofu, a lot of these benefits are also present in soymilk.

tofu is very good for you. Soybeans are linked to cancer prevention, lower cholesterol, decreased risk of heart disease and several other health benefits. It's really good if you sort of stir fry it with some sesame oil and a little soy sauce, or if you get the silken and mix it with your favorite fresh or frozen fruit and a little juice and make a smoothie.

I am a vegetarian, I eat tofu and yes it's good for you but I also eat beans and nuts and other nutrients to get protein. Like any foods, you want to vary what you eat and never eat to much of one kind (but plenty of fruits and veggies!)

compared to what?
compared to meat and cheese and fast food, yes it is good.
compared to whole real foods like vegetables & fruits and whole grains and beans, then not really. It's made from beans.
It's better than what most people in USA eat most of the time so on the whole i would say yes.

In moderation, it's fine. Consuming too many soy products can really screw up your thyroid gland--my mother is having a lot of trouble with hers because she ate lots of soy beans in the early 90's (when edamame was really popular). Honestly, anything considered "healthy" will be unhealthy if you have too much of it.
