Just make sure you are getting enough water and vitamins. One easy way of getting some nutrients without actually eating is to have carnation's instant breakfast each morning. Then at least you won't start the day with an empty stomach. Good luck with the baby!

Maybe try something simple like soup with your sandwhich, or even try making some homemade potato chips, healthier than store bought. If you only like sandwhiches try to find something that goes good with that like a salad or something. It is just one of those cravings I did it to. I would eat nothing but fruit of any kind, I got over it though!

Well, if you use lean meats, and cheeses, fresh vegetables, whole grains breads and healthy condiments on the sandwiches, then you are getting a pretty balanced diet. (no butter and sugar toast, no Nutella Spread, no potato chip sandwiches-- all crazy things I craved when pregnant!) I am sure you will switch to another craving later (mine was Jr. Mints and Peppermint Pattees!) It is not so much what you eat, it is how you cook/make what you eat and the quality of ingredients you use.

I was the same way, but I made sure to eat alot of peanut butter and nuts for the protein. If I craved something I went and got it right away before the craving passed just so I could get something into my belly!

What kind of sandwich? At least you want something. Eat whatever sounds good to you. Eating something is better than nothing at all. As long as you're getting some nutrition, drinking plenty of water, taking prenatal vitamins, and eliminating ( pee/poo) you should be fine. It happens to a lot of women. Gradually try to add more to your diet.

it's good to eat whatever you want, but unfortunately, being pregnant, one has to eat things that may not be great tasting or appetizing, but you have to eat them for the baby to get the necessary nutrients and stuff...it's only for a couple of months, then you can go back to ur sandwiches..^_^.

my sister couldn't eat anything for the first 5 months of her pregnancy only beef broth and her son turned out fine and was very healthy. don't stress. drink plenty of milk with those sandwiches and try a little broth. keep taking your prenatal vitamins and see your doctor regularly he/she will help you and give you the best advice
