Because you were in SC - South Carolina... In the south everyone sells Sweet Ice tea. If you go to any restaurant you have to answer that question...You:"I'll have an ice tea"... them "Sweetened??" I thought I was just being flattered for two weeks in Atlanta! It turns out they don't call tourists "Sweetened"

I actual have had McDonald's sweet tea and so some distance as huge time burger joints are concered it really is the excellent, yet i'd ought to assert that the tea at invoice Miller's continues to be the excellent tea to get at a huge time eating position. the reason I keep holding huge time eating position is because there is an section in San Antonio said as Mi Tierra which isn't small in San Antonio yet I actual have not considered it everywhere else.

It's not because you were at McDonalds that you got the Sweet Tea. It's because you were in the south. Sweet tea is a regional thing and about the only place you will find it in most any restaurant is in the south. Too bad the rest of the country doesn't know about it. It is very easy to make, if your interested you can contact me and I'll tell you how. I make it everyday.

Have A Good One.

If you are outside of the SE chances are you won't find anyone that sells sweet tea. I grew up on the west coast and for years it drove my father nuts that he couldn't get a good glass of sweet tea when we went out for dinner. Even as far west as Texas you will find a lot of places don't sell sweet tea. If you are outside the south and want sweet tea you will have to learn to make it yourself.

It's a supply and demand thing- iced tea is sold where managers think they can make a profit on it, just like other things. What I miss at McDonalds is good coffee- I don't know who likes chlorine in their coffee.

They have it here in San Antonio, Texas..but most (if not all) Mickey D's are franchised...maybe other parts of the country don't feel the need for sweet tea in their burger joints?

Most McDonald's are franchised and the owner's have a right to sell and not sell what they want in their restaurant.
