Love should probably not fade with age, although I'm not the best to answer, because I've not found love yet.
Think of what you may be able to do differently to improve the situation. Do you still love your mate and does he/she still love you? why or why not.
Repair from there. Liven it up. Bring it back to the golden years. Try something new. Reinvent your relationshipt.

True love never fades. Maybe that first feeling that you feel when you first fall in love dies down but the actual love for the person never does no matter how old you are.

If it is real love it want fade in age. If "love" fades it wasn't love in the first place.
