I would love to learn Arabic, but here in the murky depths of Suffolk, I can't seem to find anywhere... don't tell me to get a home course, I always seem to lack the committment to these, and prefer to be in a classroom environment with a real person teaching.... can anyone help me with some suggestions?

I live pretty close to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich all of which have some asian communities....

I thought about a mosque, but not sure where the closest one is, is there a web site I can go to where they are listed?

I wish I could help you.
But the best I can say, try to ask one of the Muslim or Arab community around you.
I hope you will find what you are looking for.

Check with a Mosque; they may know of places that teach it.
