God doesn't judge anyone. He was given a chance and still wanted to do bad. This is why he was damned for all eternity. No there shouldn't be a jury. People work in this Field are sinners, no one should judge some one else.

God as the Supreme Creator is Judge and Jury. He created everything which gives Him such rights.

Satan's got a very bad rep over the past two millenia. As has been said here, orignally he was portayed as an angel sent to "test" or challenge humankind's faith. He was a spiritual quality controller, if you like, but very definitely one of the good guys. It's only really since the development of Christianity that there's been a need for an "ultimate bad guy" - partially of course to explain why Jesus didn't just take over the world ("The power of Satan moving in the world", and partially because when you're making converts in lands where pagans worship horned gods of fertility, you need a sense of epic drama and if you can work in the idea of their gods being bad in the process, so much the better. It was the Christians who gave Satan the realm of Hell to rule over, because they needed a dramatic enemy for God to explain, for instance, why, if God and Christ were so powerful, they'd never made their presence felt before in pagan lands. They also made him suffer damnation himself because he had to have failed for their message to make sense.

Anyhow, enough history. The argument goes that yes, because God theoretically created everything, he has the right to judge and destroy everything if he wants to. but that presupposes a childish, spiteful God who would not let anyone else play just because it was his ball - "play my way or I'm going home and then you'll be sorry". Doesn't sound like any god I'd particularly trust, but there it is. I guess ultimately, we are the jury - we're the ones who need to be convinced about good and evil. Maybe that's it - we're supposed to have got the "knowledge" of good and evil in Eden. Maybe we're meant to evolve an "understanding" of good and evil through our history, in order to serve as our own arbiters of what these concepts mean?

God is Judge, Jury, and Executioner. WHere are you going to find a jury of satan's peers? God could brainwash the jury. God could destroy satan with the blink of an eye if he wanted too. I don't even beleive in satan. (Except as a rock N' roll mascot)

Your statement in false in that you are ignoring the rebirth at the point that a true believer in Jesus Christ is saved from his sins and born again.

You need to remember that God knows the very intents of the heart before you say or do anything. And based on our true intent we are judged as a sinner.

Please examine your motives for you postings on this site. If they are evil, God is making a record of every thing that you think, say and do.

You will answer for all on the day of Judgment. And will spend eternity in Heaven or Hell based on your relationship with Jesus Christ.

I pray that you ask Christ to forgive and save you today.

Forgive Satan for what? What exactly did Satan do? If god didn't need Satan he'd kick him up the bum would he not? Satan does exactly what he's supposed to do and god loves him for it. Or do you think perhaps that god allows this "fallen angel" to send billions of his children to hell for the fun of it? Christian theology is really amusing I must say.

And does Batman have the right to take the law into his own hands or leave it to the Gotham police? Also, about fictional characters, if you spin the world backwards (like Superman) that would NOT make time go back...

*shakes head

so much ignorance over this topic

Satan is not bad or evil. He is merly an angel that was created by G-d to challenge us in this world.

when the world ends at some point so will he because he has no more useful purpose.
