I am roasting a chicken and the whole house is filling up with smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Help it isn't burnt or burning but it is quite embarresing, what can i do to stop it!!!????

its normal cause when the chicken fat boil and turn to oil its will drip off and burnt to smoke when touch the hot surface.

With your right hand reach up and grab the oven temp control knob.. turn it counter-clockwise until finds the "OFF" position..

Now run/drive to the store and buy a roll of Grey duct tape. Go back to the house and stick 0.326 of the roll of the tape over the "oven temp" control knob.

This will insure no person in that house will even again try to use the oven because its simple to see you are all to stupid to operate it....

Either your oven needs a good cleaning or your temp is too high for the chicken. It should be roasted at about 350 for about an hour and a half. OPEN YOUR WINDOWS!!!!

Your oven was probably dirty. Next time make sure there's nothing to burn already in the oven. Open some windows and doors and put fans in to blow out the smoke.

You're supposed to add some water to start off. You could drain some of the juices off (save them for gravy). Is the oven on to high?

For now,it can't be helped because it's already happen. But next time try to install kitchen ventilation machine before you do something like that
