Taking this question seriously, I like Harry's answer. Have to say thank you though - the phrasing of this question made me think of someone browsing in a "God Showroom"...
"You might like to try the 2006 Yahweh sir. Comes in a range of colors and has a built in Catholitic converter. Yours for a wing and a prayer sir?"
"Hmm...got anything with a bit more holy retribution under the bonnet?"
"Ah...I can tell sir is a conneisseur. Perhaps the new Allah then? Hasn't changed much since the very first model, but nevertheless, a true classic. Optional extras this year include the onoard Turbo Boost feature that turns the vehicle into a luxury suicide capsule, that will detonate on demand. Only for those who appreciate extremism and bloodshed, that particular extra, but the standard model comes with a great deal of history and a more demanding doctrine for the true devotee. I can offer you terms sir...no, not easy ones, this is a quality faith remember, it shouldn't be too easy...no? Go home and think about it sir, and I'll hold this model until I hear from you. Thank you for visiting Al's Deity Emporium sir, and remember, for Gods you can rely on - accept no substitute."

If you mean "own" to be "in possession", then the answer is that no one owns God. It is actually the reverse, that is God owns all of us whether we are muslims, christians, jews or atheists. God is one. He created all things, from molecule to the universe.

Your answer may be valid if you think that there are many gods. The reality is that God is one. I believe that the more appropriate question is this "Which religion or group can best describe God?". For me personally, if I truly believe that there is God, I will find the religion which can best descibe God and thereafter profess that religion.

But for someone who does not believe is the existence of God, then the appropriate question he should ask is "What is the purpose of life?" Is the purpose of us human being is to eat, work, sleep then die. Is that all to life?

No one owns the God of the Universe, but among the gods that you own, you make your own choice.

Most answers are going to be religiously biased because of one's beliefs. But I would say no one owns the best god in the world becuase a) no way to compare gods b) no one really owns a god, more of the other way around c) although we believe that gods exists, no one's actually seen them, although many of us feel his/her/their presence. My point is that no one owns the best god or gods.

The waves of the mighty ocean have their own grace and individuality even if they are part of the ocean. They are different from the ocean but not divided from the ocean.

Humans are the waves and GOD is the ocean. We are different from God but not divided from God. We are all but part of a single body of God.So if you ask the multitude of waves of the ocean, "Who owns the best ocean", what would the answer be?

Hence the question about ownership of God is redundant.

My opinion: No one. No finite being like man can "own" an infinite being like God.

I believe "God is one -- paths are many". There is only one God but how you express your belief is up to you. There are as many forms of belief as there are people.

I happen to own 37% of the Christian god, and 42% of the Muslim god. Let me tell you, when you put that much god in the bank, the money really comes in fast.
