How can Jesus be God (or son of God)? I'd go for a logical fact that Jesus is a messenger from God.

Ahemd my dear Friend, Jesus is very much God and even before He came down on earth He knew HE would die for our sins- not just mine but yours also. He was not Killed as you say but rather gave up His life. read the Bible dear God says" for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son "

yes Jesus himself said that he is son of God..
But your logic is not good enough..
Soul can never be destroyed.. and Jesus is not killed either... he still lives ...he may use a human for ending his work here, but that does not mean that he has fallen down from his position..
He still prays for their forgiveness ..have you thought Why ??
