Well if you believe in immortal gods, then they would continue to rule from their mighty thrones. If they are mortal gods, like guardians or something, then they may live or die depending on whether you think that they are the type that stay with one person forever and never move on to another person or not.

There are no Gods but There is God,
Nothing happens to God when "you die"
God is God either you die or exist on earth.......
the other false gods that exalt themselves will be destroyed by the Omnipotent God name Jesus or Jehovah or YAHWEH..
only thing that matters is, if you live and let others to live to please God and worship Him you'll for sure meet him
if not and you live with your own ideas about God as well as about your own life you'll meet some one else other than God..... this is sure also...
The biggest truth that every humen beings or majority of them miss to understand is that, "death on earth is the Starting of his / her existance that is eternal in the other place" is the real truth.
Death is the beginning of any humen being
what about living on earth..............?
this is an opportunity to every one to know the porpose of God on his/her life that God gave them to spend on earth, if you live accordingly you'll sure meet God and see what happens to you and to God.

No one knows because to see what comes after life we have to die and when we die we dont come back so its illogical to say that theres something after life its all beliefs nothing else not facts.

on a personal level, its all up to the individual what happens. I tend to believe that gods are more laid back and accomodating than most people give them credit for. on a planetary scale i would immagine theyve got alot of work to do.

There are eternal gods and make believe gods.
An eternal god is one that truly exists.
A make believe god is one that we make up (idols, money, false gods, etc).
The eternal gods live forever, the make believe ones die with us.
