Every new mother and or first time parent goes through these fears, it is a normal process.....whether it be the pain factor, not knowing if you will be able to raise them yourself, or without help, or the right way....according to society.

To be completely honest with you it is a trial and error thing with everyone, you have try different methods and find a way that is suitable for you....irrespective of how unconventional it may seem to everyone else....do what you feel is right.

Absolutely! Raising a child is the Scariest and Most rewarding thing to do. It's terrifying to know that you are in charge of that little baby and to know that you are responsible for everything. It's scary just taking care of the things you can control, much less factoring in the fact that something are out of your control. Just Breath. Don't forget to tell them how much you love them everyday. Always kiss Booboo's better. And when the topic of birds and bees comes up... Send them to their father. Cause it's fun watching the expression on a man's face when he gets frustrated and says "Go ask your mother!" LOL Having kids is the hardest job you'll ever love! I promise!

It's reasonable to be scare of the responsibilities associated with children, and there's an overwhelming amount of pressure knowing you have to be so commited, so it's absolutely normal. It sounds like you haven't had any children before, so the 'unknown' adds to your fears. Won't worry about it too much... you'll find things will fall into place on it's own!

It's normal. But don't worry about the pain, yeah, it does hurt A LOT, but you get through it. And it isn't odd to have something growing inside you, it's awesome! You feel them kick and move around, it's so cool! I was scared at first but then you just learn as you go and now I love being a mom.

I am, I will hold my hands up and say I am so scared, for a number of reasons. I am scared that it will feel odd to have something moving inside me. I am scared of getting a big belly and it not going back to normal. I am terrified that I will not be able to cope with the pain! I am scared that I won't be able to cope with a new born (like what to do when it cries etc) but apart from that I would like one!!

Sure it is, especially when you are young.

I always knew I wanted kids, from the time I was a very young girl. But a few failed relationships later, and many, many jobs working with kids, I have none...and I am soo thankful. It's a huge responsibility, and I am having too much fun all on my own.
