They can,but without meeting, it is a lil harder. Trust and commitment is important. Talk often, but doubts can enter, if you find out he's talking to others or has other online female friends. Most people want to spend time with the person they are in the relationship with. You can learn a lot about them while chatting online or through emails. Untill you meet them all you can do is trust them and pray they are being honest with you and telling you everything.I have several friends who met their spouse online, met then married them within 6 mos.

Very, very rarely.

In order for a relationship to grow, you have to "feed" it, with quality time together. How can you have true quality time over the Internet, or with text messages, or on the phone?

Human touch and face to face interactions are so important.

Best of luck you to you, it didn't work for me, but we are still good friends, and I am thank full for him.

I don't see how you can really get to know someone unless you spend a lot of time with them. Maybe they can talk the talk, but can they walk the walk? It's often easier to say the right things than it is to live them. Until you see for yourself that they live by their words, how would ever really know for sure?

It depends how many minutes you have on your cellphone each month, and how effectively you use those minutes.

If you're committed, anything can happen.

Besides, doesn't hurt to try.
