Penang island in Malaysia is only useful if you want a 3 entries tourist visa before going to Thailand (the consulate there is the kindest in the world)

Thailand: bring $300 bucks and live like a king. The ladies flock to Americans and their 5 star suites run about 30 bucks a night! They treat you like a king but, don't wonder off in rural areas in any third world country.
