Knowing that what you are doing is a sin is the work of the Holy Spirit inside you. Ask for God's help to stop sinning, if you repent with your lips and dont really mean it in your heart then your gonna find yourself doing it over and over. God is faithful and just and He will always help you. When you are weak He is strong, remember that and always go to Him first.

Knowledge can only serve your faith - not hurt it. :) The Bible says that "...the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Christianity is all about seeking knowledge and truth so that you can better yourself and teach others as well. It will definitely take time to correct any sin in your life so don't beat yourself up - no one is perfect but don't give up the fight. :) Don't bother apologizing before you've even done something wrong - that's just too much guilt for any person to bear. Asking for patience from God and your fellow believers is a really nice thing for you to do. Apologizing after you've done something wrong with real repentance is great as well. But then move on - you don't need to beat yourself up over it. Just do the best that you can to follow God's Word. :) Best wishes! :)

I am not a Christian, but I hope you will not exclude my answer from your consideration.

Most of the actions that are considered sins are usually also somewhat of an addiction. So it depends upon what you are referring to. For some reason, I feel you are probably talking about sex. (Just a guess.)

It seems that some of your issues might be more a matter of self control. If you are sincere and do not have an actual addiction, you should be able to do your best to control your actions. However, as you implied, everyone is human and no one is perfect. You might want to try focusing on one thing at a time, starting with what you consider to be the worst of your sins-the rest should be easy.

Personally, I believe that God is forgiving. As long as you are sincerely trying, I think you will be fine. Just don't use that as an excuse to keep doing whatever it is you think is a problem. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

No ,knowledge is a good thing. It is not just doing that is important it is in how much love you put into it. If you take the time to pray and ask for guidance before you sin you will be given the grace NOT to sin. It is hard but not impossible.

While you are in your body there will always be sins that you struggle with.

One of the missions of the Holy Spirit is to show you these areas and to help you correct them. This sometimes takes seconds and other times takes years.

As long as you keep the faith and continue to run the race you will be fine.

I will leave you with a scripture concerning the gain of knowledge.:

Ecclesiastes 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief; and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

It's true, yet the same writer told us to seek after it. The truth isn't always going to feel good, but it will always be right.

We were born into a world of sin. Jesus died to pay the price for our sins. God doesn't expect us to be perfect, but to strive to live each day to become stronger in our faith. Do this Ask God to Guard your tongue from gossip/slander. Ask him to give you wisdom to do what is right. You may need to pray 10 times a day for a while. God doesn't expect us to change over night. It takes time! It's like going on a diet you can't lose all your weight in one day. It is consistency and determination that will help you grow. Satan doesn't want you to focus on Jesus. This is a test of your faith. If you sin ask for forgiveness and move on. Be strong and Be Bold in your faith. You can make a difference in lives of people around you!
God Bless You.

Depends if the knowledge is bible truth or just church doctrine - there is a difference as only the bible counts. But sinning with intent is deemed very bad though TRUE repentance and not just feeling repent is allowed. That means you seek repentence by action not just by words.
You cease sinning and take action not to repeat the sin. Just feeling sorry but continue in the sin is NOT repentance that God accepts.

Your statement in false in that you are ignoring the rebirth at the point that a true believer in Jesus Christ is saved from his sins and born again.

You need to remember that God knows the very intents of the heart before you say or do anything. And based on our true intent we are judged as a sinner.

Please examine your motives for you postings on this site. If they are evil, God is making a record of every thing that you think, say and do.

You will answer for all on the day of Judgment. And will spend eternity in Heaven or Hell based on your relationship with Jesus Christ.

I pray that you ask Christ to forgive and save you today.

Committing a sin when you know it is a sin is worse than sinning because you are unaware it's wrong. It can even be blasphemy, which is a mortal sin if you atone for it knowing full well that you intend to do it again.

noone can be changed overnight. The same is true with realizing what we've believed earnestly were good (we wished they were all good) but in fact they were not. human nature says... it takes time to change... first understand. believe. be determined to do what is right... we just have to trust ourselves we can. and most importantly trust that DIVINE power's AIDE.....p
