Everyone should know his partner's past, but the secrets only if them could affect the relationship. It is better to find out from the partner and not from another person. That way the relationship is based on trust and respect.

You should know none. Furthermore you should refrain from actively seeking to know any secrets and dirty ones in particular. He/She is a friend, an intimate one.In an age when many feel lonely a friend is a valuable asset, a boy- or girl-friend is a deer one indeed.
