Your religion asks you to spread the word of your faith. If you are a good Catholic you will do it. However, don't push too hard. Some people become VERY offended if you try to make them accept your religious beliefs. They have their own point of view about how things are written and followed. A congenial conversation (if possible) can help make your points; however, if the other party or persons seem reluctant to listen, then back off and talk about baseball or something else. Pushing too hard makes enemies not converts.

Express your views by example. People take to this more than anything in the world. If they like the way you live your life they will ask you why you do. That gives you the chance to let them know. But at this point don't be too forward about it or it will scare them away. Everyone today is afraid of an evangelest.

I say yes, you should express your views, but you should know who to say them to. Only to people with an open mind and who want to hear the opinions of others. I'm very religiously open minded and will listen to anything a peson has to say about their beliefs, but you should not go on and on about what you think. Some times it is better to be on the listening end. Eventually people will come around to what religion, if any, to follow, but in the end it's up to them, you can only make suggestions is all.

Absolutely - you are entitled to your opinion as well as everyone else is. That's one of the reasons websites like this were created-to share your opinion. (I am not Christian, btw.)

Please understand you cannot force someone to believe the same way you do, but if you are respectful and sincere, most people will respond the same way. My best recommendation would be for you to live your life as an example.

Best wishes.

Edit:

I should add I don't advocate approaching strangers or anyone in a context other than which it was invited, such as YA. Thanks.

Leave them alone. When discussing your beliefs state clearly they are yours, no one likes to have a religion shoved in their face, even if it's their own. If you happen to be in a conversation where they're discussing Catholics have at it, tell them whatever is relevant to the conversation. You don't want to seem pushy and overly religious, it might give people the wrong idea about you.

My opinion on this is to only help those who ask. Anyone else is liable to be offended. It is good to be proud of your religion and who you are. You should never be afraid to discuss it. However, someone is more likely to shut down if you try to force your beliefs on them. Test the waters if the subject comes up, and if they seem to want to know more, let 'em have it.

No!!!!! If you try to forcefeed your religeon on others than you deserve to get your *** kicked.

Instead set up a day each week and hold a prayer group, you can place fliers up at the YMCA or homeless shelter, and let those who are interested attend if they want to.

Don't bother people woith your faith, it's a major turn off to religeon.

If someone asks you, tell them what you believe. Never force your beliefs on anyone, or shove it down their throats, because no matter how persuasive your arguments are, being overbearing will drive them away faster than anything else. Respect other people's beliefs above all else.

If people want to prosletize, thats rude. The best way to convince someone to sway to your opinion is by example.a picture is worth a thousand words. And most people really dont know what theyre talking about when it comes to their religion. So why take the word of someone who is just passing on what hes been told with no way to back it up.

I am happy with my own beliefs. I don't welcome you, or anyone else, to assume that you should be telling me anything.

Generally, I usually enjoy an engaging academic discussion about beliefs. However, when it's little more than some set up to try to convert me and tell me how damned I am. Well...!
