I live in a predominately asian community and I have always been attracted to asians. Unfortunately, I get this vibe from asian guys that makes me think I would never be able to approach them... or rather, they would never want to approach me. Maybe the cultural difference is to extreme? Any suggestions on how to bag an asian guy? I think I might intimidate them. ;__; I have had a few asian boyfriends... but maybe I just got lucky?... u__u

there are a lot of factors like you said cultures...and among other things such as the command of the english language as i read somewhere in this forum. i do somewhat agree with that because although i have been here since i was young and i think my english is pretty good but the little accent that i have from time to time does make me feel insecure when i have to start the conversation. so imagine the magnitude of how someone else might feel if they have only been here for 10 - 15 years or less.
as an asian guy heres is my advice because i would love it if a white female comes up and say hi. i am generalizing but most asian men are not as aggressive as americans so if you initiate first, i guarantee you will not be disappointed. you may even start a trend. we may seem stand off-ish or shy, but trust me we are not once you get know us. so yeah if you like someone, say hello. nothing wrong with saying hello, right? so to answer your question yes we like white chicks. hell yeah we like white chicks!!! cheers...

When it comes to dating and "love" race should not be a limiting factor. I also find myself attracted to asian men and I am "white." I can tell you right now, it is possible for white girls to bag an asian guy. It all has to do with personality really, just because they're asian doesn't mean anything really and if all you run into are guys with a race preference, you should start looking somewhere else.
But on the note of bagging a guy... what would intimidate them the most is if the guy you're trying to get is short...and you are a lot taller. However this is true of most guys haha. Just because they're asian doesn't mean they still aren't like most other guys [but i have to say they have a lot more respect for women than any white male I've met] To bag a guy, act normal, show the best sides of your personality, and hope the guy likes you for who you are, not your body.

Sure they do date them. As you say, some may be afraid to approach the white chicks for cultural differences and etc. Of course some asian guys would be shy like others in approaching other girls. I think you should not worry too much. I am sure you will meet some nice asian guys lot more, just have patient.

I have had plenty of friends that are asian and iam of the white culture too. I have two friends that are of the white culture too and they are both happily in relationships with asian men. Dont get me wrong not all asian men are interested but it is the same with white women being interested with asian men. I think the best thing is to not stress about not finding an asian man to like you. but if that is what you want one man will come to you. Patients is a virtue in everything

My brother is Asian. So I'm pretty sure, Asian guys will date a white chick. I think it's just all with the personal preferance.

I'm part Asian and I can say that most of my Asian cousins would definitely date a white chick! I hear them all the time drooling ...
But then usually then say, "She's too hot for me" ...

I'm a "white chick" and I dated an asian guy. He was super cute and studying to be a lawyer. I met him on an online dating thing. On most services (if you are of age) you can specify the race that you would like to date. You should try it (if you are of age). Yahoo has one.

Asian guys dig white chix too. Unless, your ugly and fat. Think about it - if your hot who's gonna pass you up? Here is a hint dont make it painfully obvious that there is a cultural difference, until you get to know them...Understand that there are different types of asian cultures...they are different (filipino, chinese, japanese,indians,vietnamese, etc). I'm asian and I've only been around and dated white chicks. I'm also adopted, so I don't know if that helps any.
