You'll need a credit card to reserve a room, but can probably pay for one with cash if you just show up.
You only have to be 18 to rent one though.

Normally 18 y/o. Policies differ from hotel to hotel, but you probably will need a credit card.

you will have no problem getting a room. All you need is a photo ID and possibly a credit card or debit card with a visa/mastercard logo. You won't have to pay with the card, but they might want the number as a deposit in case you mess up the room, or order room service or anything.

It varies depending on which state you are in. In some states you have to be 25. I think 21 is the safest age though. Me and my homies tried to book rooms in New York a couple of years ago when we were like 18 and they wouldn't allow us to do that.
So, yeah, prolly 21.

You should be 18 and should be able to show your id. Some use credit card to book your name... although you can pay cash later when you are in the hotel..
