Well let's see I think I hate my own race which are mexicans for some reason, no wait there are reasons all of them are lazy bald idiots who throw gang signs and ruin our neighborhoods and shoot innocent people it just makes me feel so filthy I don't know why I mean my parents are citizens they're not on welfare or anything they know english in fact they're whitewashed even though they were born in mexico and to tell you the truth I'm happy that they are most mexican parents are idiots who don't know what to do with their children that they trun into gangsters I mean its not my fault my stupid great great great great grandfather fled Russia and settled in mexico why couldn't he choose England or Germany Jesus Christ I don't even know what to do anymore it even affects me in school and to tell you the truth I prefer white girls alot of the mexican girls at my school are whores who get a new boyfriend every 2 weeks im not saying all of them are that way do I have a reason to be ashamed?

Well... You say so many things. Where do I start?
It makes me sad to know you are not proud of your nationality and where you come from. You are Mexican because God made you that way. Long ago, even after your great, great, great, great grandfather emigrated to Mexico, parts of today's United States were also part of Mexico. I, personally would consider the people who's grandparents and great, great-grandparents came from places like Texas and New Mexico to be Mexican.
Also, it is not the nationality that is shameful, but the behavior that these people display. This behavior is learned. Lack of respect for self and others is learned- not inherited or you would be that way, too. Now, what do you mean your parents are white-washed? They did something to their skin to make it whiter? The idea that somebody would do that to themselves to try and hide their nationality sickens and angers me. Your grandparents and great-grandparents that are truly native Mexican, I am sure had noble morals. Native American's morals are far higher than that of the "white" people who came to this continent and settled here. We do not ruin the Earth, and we respect our ancester and our elders. People say that the Mexicans and the "Indians" are two separate races when you check your race or nationality box on forms you fill out but I say they are one and the same.
I, myself am mixed. I am not 100% white, although I look it because I am mostly caucasion. I have a very light complexion. I burn and I freckle. I have strawberry blonde hair and all my life, I and both of my parents have been considered white. However, my great-grandma is Native American and a few of my cousins look native too. I respect my English, Irish and Native American heritage equally because I come from good people with high morals. I am Caucasion but I am also Native American and I don't like it when people call me "white" because that leaves out a large chunk of my family.
I wish you the best and I hpe you come to peace with your family and your heritage or i believe it will eat you from the inside out. There is nothing worse than hating your heritage and where you came from.

Hmmm.... I suspect you are not Mexican, because I can't see anyone talking about their own culture quite like that.
You are you, and you are American. Mexican is not a race, it is a nationality. Don't worry about how other people act, just act the way you want to be yourself.
People really don't consider Mexican another "race" here, so any boundaries are really in your own mind. There are some cultural things people may or may not be as comfortable with since we are all more comfortable in our own cultures, but you elect your culture.
Don't worry about it.

no. There are evil little demons in ev ery comunity, among every race. And, there are decent Christian folks right there too. If your people embarrass you, it may be that you are hanging with the wrong crowd, or you need to turn them arround and lead them to Jesus. Living right has no racial barriers, and you are not "acting white" if you study and make good grades. Be cool, be a winner, and a leader. But don't ever be ashamed of the race God chose to put you into..He knows what He is doing..

Haven't you asked yourself why you are given that race? It's not because you like it... but GOD favored you to be a proud MEXICAN... Aren't you proud of yourself that you're a MEXICAN? I know MEXICAN has nice traditions and culture... the only thing you you lack is to live with that and believe in that... You're race is UNIQUE many ways... just think of it... You're neighbors might not be a good example of what you're race is? But is it a valid reason for you to be ashamed just because you're classmates (you may say) are whore?
Not only in your country there are whores everywhere there are... wherever you go.... so think of it...
HOLd YOur head up high... Cheer up... be Proud... and show to them that you are an ideal example of a true MEXICAN...

You have that in every race, but to say your ashamed is pretty bad dude. My daughter is part Hispanic and she is whiter than a ghost, but I would never want her to be embarrassed or ashamed of who she is. You should just be proud your parents chose not to raise you in those conditions. You can't change who you are. I'm not going to say I'm ashamed of being white because of the racists and stupidity of alot of Americans. Come on no one can help where there ancestors decided to migrate to. Show some pride in yourself don't put others down because of their choices.

don't stick a stereo type on ur race..ur insulting urself...are u lazy...bald... in a gang..no- it depends on how ur raised- has nothing to do with race... you should be proud of whatever u are... if ur short...be short and proud...tall be tall and proud..it's what u r... and u can't call the girls of ur race whores...that word hurts..alot...i was called that in grade 8...n i was the most innocent... to them i appeared to be a slut... b.c of the way my body was shaped...the way clothes fit me....I had never even been kissed it wasn't fair- u should love urself... love everything about urself- why are you ashamed... b.c u just think about the negative things- don't put down ur race...bring them up...become the president or something...and say yes i'm Mexican and proud-

Why be ashamed of being Mexican? That is absolutely ridiculous! There are good, bad and indifferent in all races and ethnicity's. You control you and no one else. You seem very confused, and frustrated. Maybe you should talk with someone face to face about your feelings. Bottom line, you DO NOT have anything to be ashamed about.

Don't hate who you are.Be proud of yourself and your great,great,etc. grandfather who migrated to mexico.If it wasn't for him,you wouldn't be here.You seem intelligent,and your parents did a good job raising you-they are mexican also.
I pray my two boys won't feel the hostility you do for their mexican heritage when they grow older.They are only half mexican.I'm white and their dads from mexico.Not all mexicans are bad people,you just seem to know alot of wrong ones.It's the same in any race.Look at all the KKK and harley riding redneck white people around.I am not happy my great grandfather was in the KKk,but I can't change it.If it won't for him,I wouldn't be here.

You are ashamed of your own race because you are not educated enough to understand it and for what you say you might live in a low-income environment. If you go to wealthy areas you can find well educated, professional mexicans who would be ASHAMED to even listen to your whining.
